Production
Three patent families currently expressed in production Elixir deployments, delivering live Hypercase outcomes.
VPRC (Vishnu Prasad Research Centre) is Elixir's R&D arm, established in Tamil Nadu in 2018. It has grown from a single research department to a multi-domain institution comprising 19 R&D departments and 72+ researchers from seven countries. The 69-patent portfolio is the accumulated output of that institution's AI and enterprise automation research programme: the intellectual foundation for the Agentic AI Framework, LIXI, and the three research-to-production pathways currently delivering live Hypercase outcomes.
Patent research areas
The six AI and enterprise automation research domains in the portfolio.
01/ 06
Intelligent Document Processing for Enterprise Finance
Patent family covering automated extraction, classification, and reconciliation of financial documents at enterprise scale. Applied inside Elixir Books (AP matching, GST reconciliation) and Oracle NetSuite deployments (invoice reconciliation). Production expression: the BFSI Hypercase producing 11x faster invoice reconciliation.
Coordinated Agent Framework for SAP Workflow Automation
Patent family covering coordination of multiple AI agents across SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, and BTP environments without performance degradation. Foundation for all six Kyyte procurement products and the S2Integrators Agent Vault architecture. Production expression: the Procurement Hypercase producing 80% PO automation.
Predictive Claims Routing for Healthcare Revenue Cycle
Patent family covering prediction of claim denial probability before submission using NLP model trained on healthcare billing data. Applied in SAP MedTech RCM deployments across Gulf healthcare enterprises. Production expression: the Healthcare Hypercase producing 37% claims processing time reduction.
Explainability and Audit Trail Architecture for Enterprise AI
Patent family covering the technical architecture for AI decision explainability and audit trail logging at enterprise scale. Underpins the Responsible AI Charter's Explainability and Audit Trail commitments. Applied as Layer 4 of the Agentic AI Framework on every Elixir AI deployment.
Heuristic Supplier Scoring for Procurement Automation
Patent family covering the heuristic AI model that powers SourcifAI's supplier scoring: cross-company purchase history, award performance, and delivery reliability data combined into a single supplier quality score. Codelco production validation: 6-8 FTE saved, 5-8% sourcing savings on addressable tail spend.
Enterprise Data Quality Monitoring for AI Readiness
Patent family covering automated monitoring of enterprise data quality across SAP and Oracle data models: the technical implementation of the Agentic AI Framework's Layer 1 (Data Foundation). Surfaces data quality issues before any AI build begins, preventing the mid-build discoveries that cost months on enterprise AI programmes.
VPRC institution profile
The research institution behind the portfolio.
Vishnu Prasad Research Centre was established in 2018 in Tamil Nadu as part of Tamil Nadu's research and innovation ecosystem. It has grown rapidly: from one department to nineteen, from a local team to an international faculty of researchers from seven countries: in six years.
VPRC's research scope is deliberately broad: 19 departments spanning Agriculture, IIoT, Defence, Transportation, Solar Energy, Software, Robotics, Material Sciences, Fuels and Energy, Meditech, Water Management, Consumer Electronics, Sustainability, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Aerospace, Construction, Waste Recycling, Education, and Genetics. The AI and enterprise automation research that feeds directly into Elixir's production deployments is one of nineteen active programmes.
As of January 2023, VPRC holds 69 patents. The research institution is in the process of establishing a state-of-the-art multi-specialised R&D laboratory in India: a project that will expand research capacity and create substantial employment in Tamil Nadu.
