Elixir AI · Named Methodology

Most AI frameworks describe five phases and then hand them over. Elixir's framework has five layers, and Elixir operates the last one permanently after every other vendor has left.

The Agentic AI Framework came out of VPRC's research programme. It maps the five components every production AI deployment needs: not as a consulting model, but as an architecture. Layer 5 is the differentiator: Permanent Operations means Elixir's team runs the agents after go-live. Not handed over. Not documented and left. Operated. The improvement compounds.

VPRC

69 research patents. The framework came from owned research, not licensed methodology.

The Agentic AI Framework is the architecture map for every production AI deployment Elixir runs. It is not a project management model or a consulting framework. It is a technical architecture with five layers that must all be present for an AI deployment to reach production scale and stay there. The framework came out of VPRC's research programme and is applied on every engagement without modification.

The five layers

Five layers. Applied on every deployment Elixir runs.

Layer 1

Data Foundation

The enterprise data baseline. Governed, clean, and accessible before any AI is scoped. No AI deployment is started without confirming this layer is in place. Data quality issues discovered mid-build add months; discovered at layer one, they add days.

Layer 2

Model Selection

Model-agnostic across AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and GCP Vertex. Model selection is driven by data residency requirements, compliance constraints, and the specific use case: not by a vendor partnership or a generic benchmark score.

Layer 3

Agent Orchestration

Single agents for contained, well-defined workflows. Multi-agent pipelines for complex cross-system processes that span multiple enterprise platforms. Elixir Hyper and LIXI are the orchestration layer for the Elixir proprietary product suite. SAP BTP orchestrates within the SAP ecosystem.

Layer 4

Governance

Audit trail, explainability, bias testing, and human override built into every agent before go-live. This is the Responsible AI Charter operationalised. Not a policy layer applied after the fact. A technical architecture decision made in the first sprint of every engagement.

Layer 5

Permanent Operations

The layer most vendors do not provide. Elixir's Agentic Operations team runs the agents after go-live. Not handed over. Not documented and left. The team monitors performance, adapts the agents as the enterprise environment changes, and delivers a monthly outcome report. The improvement compounds over time as the agents learn from the production environment.

Why Layer 5 is the differentiator

Every other firm delivers Layers 1 through 4. Elixir operates Layer 5 permanently.

The pattern in enterprise AI deployments that fail to generate sustained returns is consistent: the implementation vendor delivers a working system, hands over documentation, and exits the engagement. The client's internal team is expected to operate a system they did not build, on a technology stack they are still learning, against an enterprise environment that changes continuously.

Elixir's Agentic Operations model does not hand over. The same team that built the agents continues to operate them after go-live. SLA-backed performance. Monthly outcome reports. Continuous optimisation as the enterprise environment changes. This is the structural reason 314 Elixir-built agents are currently in production rather than in a production-ready state waiting for a client team to operationalise them.

Layer 5 is also the reason the 90-day-to-production target is achievable without compromising governance. Layers 1 through 4 can be executed at pace when the team running them knows they are also responsible for operating the output permanently.

What Permanent Operations includes

Agent performance monitoring against defined outcome metrics. Adaptation as enterprise data, workflows, and business rules evolve. Escalation management when an agent hits a scenario outside its training parameters. Monthly outcome reporting against the baseline defined at engagement start. Continuous optimisation as the agent accumulates production data. Governance compliance monitoring across all five Responsible AI Charter commitments. Security patch management for the agent and model layer.

What it is not

A managed services contract for infrastructure hosting. A helpdesk for user queries. A retainer for change requests at hourly rates. A documentation handover with a support email address.

A running system, a team operating it, and a monthly outcome report.

That is the only model Elixir offers. Not advisory. Not proof-of-concept. Not methodology delivered and handed over. Start the RFP Journey with a practitioner who has deployed this framework in your sector.
